You know, as I look at that picture again I realize it doesn't convey how steep the walls around that lake are. I mean, they're not vertical, but they're steep enough and pretty much all loose scree. I think even experienced hikers would like take a spill trying to get down to that lake. Hawk and I were considering that— hypothetically— as we gazed down over it.
