They're everywhere in the rural parts of all of the islands.

I don't think O'ahu has as much of a problem with wild boar as we have on the Big Island. We almost hit one coming back from a concert (at night) a couple of weeks ago! That was certainly enough to keep one awake the rest of the trip. We've heard them around here, and even seen one further down-hill from us.
