I used to skate that trail from Whisman School Park all the way out to the sailing pond at Shoreline and back again. I don't remember any more if your wife and I skated that together, but I used to skate it by myself and with a number of other friends who skated at the time.

And I sometimes used to see a NASA coworker zoom by at about triple the speed I could manage. I never knew he was a skater, but he seemed to be pretty good!
