That sucks, about the theft.

Your best bet-- and it's not a good one-- is if this was part of a larger crime ring that gets taken down later, and they get the identifiable piece that way, some time down the road.

(Something similar happened to my parents. The details escape me after twenty years, but some stolen stuff was eventually found.)
