Yeah, as a high school teacher, this is theoretically a place where me and mine would have more power...but organizing that sort of general strike is _terrifyingly_ difficult, especially when teachers-in-general are not well known for having giant cushions of spare funds to live off of while not getting paid.

Still though, if "don't work for a year, ensure that mass gun violence ends" were a true situation, I would participate in a _heartbeat_.
