That shit drives me insane. I used to have this trouble all the time. I'd be expecting a case of wine, then suddenly get a text alert for "missed delivery".

I called and pitched a fit. They said the driver said I wasn't home. I told them I work from home, and even if I didn't, my nonagenarian in-laws are always home, so ring the goddamned doorbell.

Now I have a new driver who doesn't even make me sign for things now. I just stick my head out the window and wave, he leaves my box, and I can grab it after I get the dog into another room.
