I'm relieved we're back to normal timekeeping. You mention you enjoy brighter mornings. I prefer morning light to jump start my day. It gives me energy for work. At night the dark encourages people to go to bed earlier and get more sleep. Most Americans need more sleep than they're getting. For those staying up past dark, we have multiple options for artificial lighting, including soft, warm hues that cue our nervous system it's time to wind down. I wish we'd ditch Daylight Savings Time forever.
