Thanks for your reviews of Band of Brothers episodes. It sounds well worth watching. The episode you just reviewed, about the medic who was never recognized for his essential service at a very dark moment in a world war, will probably infuriate and, at the same time, hearten me. Undoubtedly there are political machinations in the military, as well as plain incompetence. As you say, who knows why Eugene Roe never received a medal, especially when his comrades recognized his courage and tireless work? Nevertheless, this show and this episode probably made his heroics better known than even a medal would have back in the day.
Now I really want to see this show
