I spent a good chunk of time a couple years ago reading through the wikipedia pages for basically every death and serious injury that's ever occurred at a theme park. While it seems like this would make me more nervous about rides, it actually made me less so --there are _so few_ and the majority of them are direct results of someone doing something stupid, like hopping a fence to enter the ride area, or unbuckling their seatbelts on purpose.

(the exception being "Action Park" in New Jersey. That place was just _terrifying_)
