Have you narrowed in on where in the PNW you're going? There are so many worthy areas, from greater Seattle (lots of waterfalls on the west side of the Cascades) to the Olympic Mountains to Rainier to the Portland area/Columbia Gorge, to the Oregon coast, to the Inland Empire.
