And the 1.5 seconds was just so I could make the decision as to whether I’d laugh in their face first or do the Ask A Manager response of “Thank you for the offer of the new position. I am not interested in the role. Let’s discuss our next steps as you have eliminated my position.”

The first option would have been the most fun, but I went with option 2.
