Da Boss and I used to really, REALLY love Gojo Ethiopian down in San Jose. We knew the owner who was usually the host and cashier and often the waiter as well.
The last time we went there, we were greeted by someone we didn't know. He was the new owner. He told us that he hadn't changed a thing, the recipes were all the same.
But the place didn't have that wonderful smell of spices it used to. And the food wasn't nearly as yummy as it had been. We won't bother going back; there are better places closer than the middle of SJ when we're in the mood for Ethiopian.
