Yeah, the miasma of the overall world contributes to my dispiritedness. It's not like I need to reevaluate my activities for my own safety, though. I have the privilege of being white, male, cisgender, heterosexual. This new video game USA 2025 really sucks but I'm fortunate I can play it on "easy" mode.

As for the other kind of caving, I'm not into cave exploration as an activity. I don't own any particular equipment for it. Not beyond typical hiking gear and a cheap helmet, anyway. I do occasionally explore caves on hikes. See a few posts at my underground tag.
