Chills & Shakes

Last night around 10pm I had a sudden case of chills and shakes. Also my ears were ringing. No, it wasn't flight withdrawal, though ironically it occurred right after I posted that. 🤣 Could it have been a reaction to a vaccine booster (non-Covid) I had Wednesday afternoon? Maybe, though 32 hours after injection is a strange time for side effects suddenly appearing. It was time for bed anyway so I laid down wrapped in an extra blanket.

I awoke this morning feeling mostly better. The shakes and ringing are gone. I had a bit of residual body ache so I popped two Tylenol with breakfast. Thankfully it looks like this was just some freaky, short-term thing (maybe it was a delayed reaction to the shot) rather than the start of something more serious.

Hope you're feeling better!

I sometimes experience chills and start shivering because of fatigue or lack of sleep. If your shivers and shakes were a delayed reaction to a vaccine booster, you're right: 32 hours seems like a long time. Is it possible you're not sleeping well or long enough or both?

In any case, I hope you're feeling back to normal!
