How in the world could anybody, much less a mechanic, miss that? Did they replace a pebble with a 6" stick? Did they figure, after fleecing you on basic service, you'd agree to whatever repair estimate they presented? The stick was to remind themselves where the problem lay?

I'm going to warn people against that BMW dealership's service center. Which one is it?
