Yeah, I wish we could've gone to see our friends f2f again. At this point it's been several years. We weren't reluctant to see them; they're all vaccinated and we trust them. The problem is/was flying right now, spending hours in unavoidable close proximity to people who might be sick and refuse to wear their masks correctly.

I checked online yesterday and saw that the flight home we would've taken was delayed 2 hours. The schedule was early enough that we wouldn't have been getting home at midnight or anything, but right now an extra 2 hours in a crowded airport terminal with people coughing and pulling their masks down would've gotten on our nerves.
