I don't have direct professional or personal experience with telemedicine for mental health so I will be careful offering an opinion on it. It would seem to me, though, that it should work in the respects that GP telemedicine works and be limited in the same ways. Positives: easier access for patients in (any) circumstances where getting to a physician's office is hard. Coronavirus is far from the only thing, there. Limits: sometimes a physician really needs to be within 6 feet of a patient to fully assess their condition— and help them in the case of acute need. Plus, some patients might not find remote psychotherapy helpful. I'm glad it works for you.
