This '80s Show
Apr. 1st, 2021 12:54 pmHigh temperatures here have been in the '80s recently. What a great way to end March and begin April. Yesterday the weather topped out at 84° F (29° C) with the same again this afternoon. This ticks one of my boxes for the informal start of summer season: I've chosen to wear shorts today because of the weather. It may even tick another, if/when I turn on the A/C in the house today!
Alas this '80s show, like its TV namesake, will not last. The forecast shows temperatures cooling down to a high of 73° tomorrow and then not rising above the mid 60s over the weekend and through all of next week. So it's not really summertime yet; just a preview of what's to come.
Still, while it's here I'll enjoy it. Hawk and I ate dinner on the patio last night. We'll likely do the same again this evening.
