Tales & Trails of a Traveling Wiseguy

Having a clean bedroom, or at least a bedroom that doesn't look like a crime scene, to come home to is a good one. Sometimes the "Have enough time to unpack everything" thing fails and you just want to wash up & tumble into bed without having to do chores first.

In a similar vein we clean the kitchen before we leave. Load and start the dishwasher, clean whatever's left in the sink that can't go in the machine, and take out the trash. It's never fun to come home to a wrecked kitchen. And none of it gets better with age. Even on a weekend trip we tidy the kitchen before we leave.
