If you have a half-day (or more!) while you're out at Dulles, check out the Udvar-Hazy facility of the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum. It's right out there, tucked into a corner of the airport property--but accessed from the other side from where you get to the active airport.

If you like airplanes, and air and space history, it's well worth seeing.
