"It's been a long Day 1," one of my colleagues empathized with me. "Day 1?" I shot back. "This is Day 2! Yesterday was busy enough to count as Day 1."
Well yesterday at SKO was busy. Today was busier. Well, maybe not busier but definitely longer. We were in training seminars from 8:30 to 5:30. Then after a brief period to relax in our rooms or get a pre-game cocktail— I chose to relax in my room— we assembled back downstairs at 6:15 to go out for group dinners. I didn't get back from dinner until just after 10, having eaten way too much good food, then saw a few colleagues at the hotel bar and chose to hang out with them until almost 11.
While at the bar getting a night cap— mine was a Diet Coke this time— I checked my schedule for tomorrow. The bastards had moved up our start time by 30 minutes! That means tomorrow's going to be even longer than today. 😣
