canyonwalker | Turning the Clocks Back. Yay?

Daylight Saving Time ends this weekend. Clocks will "fall back" 1 hour early Sunday morning. While I'm no fan of the days getting shorter— the context in which this change happens— I will appreciate having the sun rise at around 6:40 instead of 7:40 starting Sunday. The late sunrise the past week or two has made it hard to get out of bed in the morning. "It's still dark!" my animal hind brain protests long after my 6:45am weekday alarm rings. "Go back to sleep!" So, yay, for it being light when I need to wake up. But boo for it being dark just as my formal working hours end at 5pm.
