Mask Up in California (Again)

With Coronavirus rates back on the rise recently, caused by the emergence of the Omicron strain, people moving gatherings back indoors as winter arrives, and a lot more social gatherings around Thanksgiving and Christmas, California has reenacted an indoor mask mandate statewide. It's effective tomorrow, Dec 15, and lasts at least through Jan 15.
For my daily life it's a distinction without a difference. That's because my county, and most of the other counties in the Bay Area, have maintained indoor masking requirements. Only a couple Bay Area counties relaxed their rules from "Masks required for ALL" to "Masks required unless you are vaccinated." Of course, all those "...unless you are vaccinated" rules come with NO prescribed methods or standards for determining a person's vaccination status. 🙄 It's all simpler when that ruse is dropped.
