Two Years of (Writing about) Coronavirus

Today is the second anniversary of writing about Coronavirus in my blog. My first post on the topic was January 30, 2020 (LiveJournal link). Click through to see an example of how many of us thought differently about Coronavirus early on in the cycle. Back then it wasn't clear that it was going to cause a lasting global pandemic instead of having limited regional impact like beta coronaviruses SARS and MERS did.
Does that thinking seem quaint? Consider also that back then we didn't even have a name for the disease. "Covid-19" was coined February 11, 2020.
According to my stats at LJ I've written about Coronavirus 370 times in these two years. (Well, 370 is how many times I've used the tag "Coronavirus".) That's an average of once every other day and one out of every 3 posts. That's... both a lot and a little. I know I could certainly have written more about it if I cared to. As much as it's been a life changing thing in virtually every aspect of living... well, it already occupies enough space in my head; I don't want to give it more!
