GoT S6E2: Tyrion's Great Lines

canyonwalkerTyrion Lannister, portrayed so well by actor Peter Dinklage, has a bigger part in the story in season 6 of Game of Thrones than anytime since season 2— when he rocked. Part of the fun with seeing Tyrion is that he's witty— and not evil. Tyrion delivers some great lines in S6E2, "Home".
In the palace at Meereen, Tyrion, Grey Worm, and Missandei are pondering how to care for— and use— the two of Daenerys's dragons held in the palace while she is missing. Tyrion explains a bit about dragon lore, including that the dragons are intelligent, that they recognize friends vs. foes, and most of all, that they will waste away if left chained in the crypt below the palace for too long.
"How do you know this?" Grey Worm challenges. (Or maybe it was Missandei.)
"That's what I do: I drink and I know things," Tyrion quips.
The next two lines come when Tyrion ventures down to the crypt to unchain the dragons. He trepidatiously walks up to the dragons. Varys waits at the top of the stairs. Grey Worm and Missandei are nowhere to be seen... which is interesting, at least for Missandei, as Tyrion said the dragons would recognize her as a close friend of Daenerys and thus an ally of theirs, clearly implying that she should approach the dragons.. I'll assume that somewhere off-camera Missandei said "Hell no!" in one of the 18 or 19 languages she speaks fluently. 🤣
"I'm here to help," Tyrion announces as he nears the grumbling dragons. Then, more softly, "Please don't eat the help."
Tyrion survives the encounter. The dragons don't know him but they deem his behavior unthreatening enough to let him approach. After he removes the collar around one, the other lowers its head for him to free it, too.
Tyrion rejoins Varys at the top of the stairs. "The next time I have a brilliant idea such as that, punch me in the face."
