The Days are Already Blurring Together
Feb. 25th, 2026 08:33 pmI'm only on Day 3...ish of retirement, and already the days are blurring together. I asked myself a few times today whether it was Wednesday or Thursday... or even Tuesday. Without the defined schedule of work and its M-F cadence it's easy to lose track of which day it is.
One thing I discovered while doing normally weekend stuff on a Wednesday is that one restaurant I enjoy going to for lunch— but have really only ever been to on weekends— is crazy busy during the week. Like, the line to order was 10 people deep when I arrived... and 20 people deep when I left. Yeah, I'mma stick to weekends there.
