98 Degrees 🥵

canyonwalkerIt is 🔥HOT🔥 today. It was already 80° at 10am when I closed the windows and made sure the AC was on (It was; we actually left it running all night). Temps peaked at 98° mid-afternoon. I know, that's not unusual for some places. When we landed in Phoenix two weeks ago, for example, it was still 100° at 8pm after the sun had set. But temps like this are unusual here.
Tomorrow is supposed to be cooler at only 88, then Sunday will top out in the high 70s. I'm thinking I'll take it easy/stay mostly indoors Saturday and look to get out and enjoy the milder weather Sunday.
Update: The temperatures overachieved both days, with a high on Saturday of 91° and Sunay 81°. Sunday it even rained a bit... which is hella weird for June in California! I hoped maybe the rain would cool down the muggy weather a bit, but instead it just made it more humid.
