April 2022 Now My Second-Bloggiest

canyonwalkerAs we close the books on April 2022 (it's late evening on the 30th here) I'm checking my blogging stats for the month. For the month of April 2022 I've written 76 blog entries. Calendar views: April 2022 on Dreamwidth; April 2022 on LiveJournal. These 76 entries make April '22 my second bloggiest, comfortably beating out the old second place of January 2022 with its 68 posts but not quite eclipsing the runaway 80 times I blogged in September 2020. I did get close, though!
As with September '20 what brought my tally up this month was travel. The main event was our 9-day trip to Hawaii. I also wrote several entries about a weekend trip to the high desert and a day-trip to Pinnacles National Park. These three trips account for roughly 50 blog posts. If we hadn't traveled... well that hypothetical doesn't make sense; we'd have traveled somewhere rather than just stay home! If we hadn't taken such great trips then maybe those 50 travel posts would've been 25 posts about other stuff, dropping my monthly total to 51... which, hey, that'd still be a good tally, comfortably over my goal of 1.5/day.
